11. What is the cost?

Programmes are FREE.

PLEASE NOTE: These programmes cannot be used as a fund-raising opportunity.

12. Can the team help with a Water Quality Testing Project?

 

The Rand Water Nature Centre (Glenvista) and the Vereeniging Purification Station have equipment that learners can use to test the water quality of river water, tap water and/or bottled water for school projects but these cannot be done at the Centres. This testing needs to be done at a school or at a water source.

Costs: R50 for 1-4 samples and R5 per sample thereafter.

13. What talks and tours are offered for ADULTS?

Rand Water can offer a range of Water Wise talks and tours for teachers and adults at a school or other venue:

14. May tour companies book school groups on behalf of schools?

Only school staff may make bookings with Rand Water, and not tour companies.
